The Middlesex County Fire School is presenting the “Engine Company Chauffeur School” Course to be hosted by the Durham Fire Department. This program is designed to prepare new Engine Company Operators for taking on the responsibility of driving and operating an engine in their department. This comprehensive program includes two separate, important training classes in one. Students may sign up for both modules or each module independently. Please specify this on the registration form.

Modules:

Q Endorsement: This training class will provide instruction to students on the operation of fire apparatus in accordance with the standards established by the Commission on Fire Prevention and Control. At the end of this program, students will participate in a practical skills test and successful completion will allow them to apply to the DMV for a Q Endorsement on their driver’s license. (24 Hours)

MCFS Engine Company Chauffeur: Basic pump operations course consisting of lecture and practical skills evolutions (20 Hours)
